Abstract

In his preface to the publication of F. A. Stepun’s emigrant texts, which were published in Europe during the first half of the 20th century, the author demonstrates the independence of thought of the philosopher and writer, who was called a bridge between Russia and Germany. Expelled by Lenin along with other prominent intellectuals from Soviet Russia, he remained true to Russian culture and wrote about it throughout his life.
