Abstract

Intentional molding of negative attitude towards social norms in general and to language norm, in particular, is a means of nuclear ethnic stereotype’s destruction. Limiting an individual’s language competence through mass media influence leads to the purposeful establishment of defective cognitive structures. Each cognitive structure has its own conceptual interpretation area, that’s why associative links are distorted and the image of the world changes
