Abstract

Humanism and freedom in the history of mankind is not a wide pillar road, but a heavy siliceous path. In Russia, it is fraught with bumps originating from internal riots due to the not very effective way of life of the people, such as longevity of serfdom or work under the leadership of the GULAG system. The path was complicated by failures from revolutions, civil, as well as world wars. History formed a kind of consciousness in the Fatherland, characteristic of different historical times. It can coexist with holiness with the rebellion, asceticism with non-possessiveness and embezzlement — both among the ordinary official and the representative of the supreme state power. True humanism and the desire for freedom should be a movement towards universal values, but we look at the world through the prism of our own (social, economic, political, etc.) interests and beliefs. The sought-after universal principle can be lost in the fog of possible double standards — “one's own” and “another's”. Scientific disciplines, in particular, psychology and sociology, should overcome their negative impact. For this, among other things, it is necessary to understand and actualize the role of the individual in history.

Humanism, freedom and personality are closely interconnected. This refers to the personality in its intimate, internal and social, social dimensions. Humanism and the main of freedoms — freedom of thought and creativity are connected with the personality. Freedom of thought should be controlled by logic, or forms of logic, while freedom of creativity must be subordinated to universal morality, although today it seems utopian. But in another case, forms of freedom can produce a lot of inhumane. We need a new, global thinking. Otherwise, a person, as before, will spend huge amounts of money and attract the best engineering and scientific-theoretical minds to create weapons of self-destruction. Man has found many high truths and meanings, created many useful things for life, created a culture, but he also creates threats to his existence. The passion of man has always been a thirst for consumption. But as a result of this passion, a large amount of production waste (carbon dioxide) is being thrown into the biosphere today, which leads to rapid degradation of the environment, global warming, and very likely global cataclysms — with very sad consequences for sapiens. The reserves of drinking water are reduced, “light planets” (forests) are cut down and burned, the number of plant species, animals, freshwater and sea fish, etc. is reduced. A person needs to escape from himself.
