Abstract

Wartime poetry is a document of the era. The essays written by the participants of the round table opened the authors the possibility of dialogue, existential experiences as well as the ability to feel involved in the distant, but still close events of the war. For the philosophical mind, it is also a touch to existential problems of life and death; the value of peace; the distinction between friend and enemy; the understanding of duty or sacrifice; the experience of losing a loved one; experience of love during the war.
