Abstract

From the strokes of a paintbrush to the harmonies of a symphony, each artistic medium carries its own unique semantics, offering distinct avenues for interpretation and understanding. In this essay, I touch on sculpture, music, and cinema, unraveling the intricacies of their semantics and the profound impact they wield on our perceptions and emotions. Our visit to the sculptor Lazar Gadayev’s home museum and seeing his unique and very human and humane sculptures and figurines initiated a comeback to my previous unpublished attempts to identify a kind of semantics for arts languages if arts may be so described.
