Abstract

The article examines the texts from the magazine “Syntax” (edited by Maria Rozanova), which is much aspiration to dialogue between raznolikim compatriots. Various communicative strategies, which are both speech and cognitive, are revealed. Th ey, in turn, help to understand the features of the Russian national character. Analyzed Raznochinnaya utopia, formed in the second half of the nineteenth century without mutatis mutandis manifested itself through the centuries. Th e connection of utopian thinking with linguistic relativism and the reasons why the polemic text loses its dialogical character, a quasi-dialog is noted. Revealed a number of peculiarities of communicative strategies immigrant polemicists, among them intolerance to the opponent, the opposing tendencies to ask questions.
