Abstract

Russian post-revolutionary emigration, which can hardly be called emigration, since for the most part it was not voluntary departure, but exile, tried to define itself as an independent force, looked for connections, possibly unthinkable in peacetime in the homeland. In this vein, it seems to me, a friendly letter is written by the philosopher Ivan Alexandrovich Ilyin (1883–1954) to General Baron Pyotr Nikolaevich Wrangel (1878–1928).
